Agard hits Millers' winner

KIERAN Agard struck the only goal of the game to earn Rotherham United a fine win at League One promotion rivals Peterborough.

A highly entertaining encounter was decided in first-half stoppage time when the Millers’ top scorer struck from the penalty spot after being upended by Ben Nugent.

It was Agard’s 18th goal of the season and extended Rotherham’s unbeaten run to 13 games.

Nicky Adams and Alex Revell also went close to making the winning margin wider before a terrific rearguard action  frustrated Peterborough’s comeback attempts.
