TV report on Rotherham shoppers misleading

I could not believe the recent report on BBC Breakfast TV about the way that Rotherham is bucking the trend and has increased its shoppers footfall into town by about 32%.

I wonder how this figure is arrived at as there is no automatic counter for everyone to go through!

I lived in Rotherham for over 50 years and felt the report gave a very misleading view of the facilities on offer.

While the reporter talked about the town the coverage showed a scene of shops such as M&S, BHS and John Lewis none of which are in Rotherham. I feel anyone visiting the town to use these shops is going to be very disappointed.
