Todwick roadworks set to be a costly failure

Having sat in standing traffic on the M1 on the first day of the roadworks at Todwick crossroads, I wonder how many accidents and injuries will be caused by this costly ptroject, which will fail to deliver a safe route and relieve traffic congestion between Dinnington and the A57?

My father has advised the Department of Transport and local elected members that the scheme as planned will not work.

Eventually the roundabout will need traffic lights to allow traffic flow, putting us back in the same place as we were last week only several million pounds poorer.
