The postman's off and running again
I SEE our old friend the "knock-and-run" postman is back with use again. I thought we'd got rid of him two years ago after a spate of complaints.
Sits in his/her van, writes a "sorry you were out"card races to your front door, taps with a sponge and then races off before you can get to the door.
This in spite of their being two cars on the drive at 10.30am. At any rate, this time Royal mail can stick it . . . send it back. I'm not going to join the queues murmuring about the "knock-and-run" postman at Main Street.
I've told Amazon it's either send stuff DHL or no sale.
