Thanks to the hospital

THERE must be two general hospitals in Rotherham, one that gets poor results and one our family used recently.

We have an 80-plus family member who collapsed outside Kemp’s Opticians on July 4. The staff came out and helped him and took him inside and called for an ambulance. The staff of Kemps, Dale Road, Rawmarsh, our family cannot thank you enough.  Within minutes a paramedic arrived and began treating him and monitoring him. The ambulance crew arrived a few minutes later, the combined team worked their magic and transferred him to Rotherham District General hospital. To you marvellous ambulance workers we owe you a massive thank you. To the A & E the wards B1 and A4 for the 11 days you could not have done more for him.  He’s home now and doing fine.

Thanks to people who don’t have parking places with their names on them or sit in offices with big desks but people who work hard caring for people. The flag above RDGH has NHS on it, which means no higher service because that’s what he received.
