Thanks to all at hospital

WE read a lot of criticism in the Advertiser of our District General Hospital but I beg to differ.

I would like to praise everyone I met on my visit there last Thursday after I had a fall at home. I was on my own but the staff that looked after me were so kind and friendly, it didn’t matter at all.

I would like to say a big “Thank you” to the ambulance drivers, the staff in A&E and the X Ray departmen , the nurse practitioner in casualty, the physiotherapist, the occupational therapist and the carer nurses who came to my home afterwards — and yes, I did see all these people in one day.

The treatment, the help, the support and the advice I received was outstanding. They could not have done more. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness by everyone I met.

Through your paper please convey my grateful thanks to all concerned.
