Thanks for saving school bus

Sir-- Following the letter I recently wrote to you regarding the withdrawal of Blackburn Primary school bus from Sept 2012, I am please to announce after our meeting with councillors, including Cllr Ahktar of Kimberworth, and governor Ian Jones our childre

It is a huge relief for us as parents because now the safety of our children is ensured, as we won't have to tackle the dangerous Droppingwell Road or tire our children by walking two miles to school.

A big thanks goes out to all concerned, especially the Droppingwell school bus action group as without them this wouldn't have been possible to turn around!

A big thanks to all parents that signed our petition and who attended last Saturday's meeting. What an outcome! it just shows you what can happen when a community pulls together.
