Stand and fight for the NHS

As local elections loom, maybe it's time the people of villages and towns around Rotherham should stand up and be heard.

Our NHS is under attack from the same people who thought privatising our national industries would be a good deal for the people of Britain. Well, 30 years into Thatcher's unregulated free market economy, bills, rent, fuel and food have gone through the roof, while wages have been in stagnation for 30 years or more.

I've mentioned three years ago in previous letters that the UK is looking at stagnation for at least a decade and the Con/Dems have choosen the wrong economical path and will lead Britain to complete privatisation.

Our public services are being eroded and, bit by bit, put into the unregulated free market, but our council tax is sky high and set to rise. The NHS is undergoing a massive propaganda campaign by the Tory Party in order to discredit the service, paving the way for the privatisation of our NHS.

Unfortunately, Labour also want the NHS to go the same way, except slower not faster, so it's going to take people who care about their communties to stand up and defend our ancestors' greatest gift to us, the NHS.

If you contact the Electoral Services, Rotherham, and ask for a election pack, fill in the required paperwork and you can make a difference. Don't give Labour/Tories an easy ride in May, make them work for their allowances.
