Showcase our local shops

With reference to the Rotherham show., With the excellent weather the show was extremely busy and a great success, but one poor area was in the catering and sales stalls.

The choices were fairly limited, expensive and, more importantly, did not showcase Rotherham town centre business in any way.

There are some great town centre shops, in both food and gifts, surely an area should be provided for these. Indeed, should the highest monetary bid always win at a local show of this nature?
