Poppy appeal plea
On the 90th anniversary year of The Royal British Legion, I am writing to thank all who donated to last year's total of just over £23,372 in the Rotherham area and to once again ask you to be as generous this year.
As in previous years, pre-ordered wreaths and poppies can be collected from the Chapel of our Lady on the Bridge (Chapel on the Bridge near the bus station) from October 24 to November 12 2011.
We also have wreaths for general purchase as well as poppies, wrist bands, badges, childrens stickers, car stickers, car poppies and small wooden remembrance crosses.
