Poor state of Rotherham's roads

Sir--What a state our roads are in and I think most road users in Rotherham would agree.

The surfaces are just crumbling away.  I would like to ask Rotherham Council / Street Pride why we are not resurfacing our crumbling roads, but wasting money on roundabouts messing with junctions causing disruption, ie Wellgate/Hollowgate. I just can't see the point when we have roads which are desperate for surfacing.

Take Doncaster Gate, for instance, a main road into the town used by many people. This road surface is so bad you would think you were driving into a building site, not into a town centre, that's how bad it is.

So I ask why isn't our council improving our road surfaces instead of messing with junctions and rounabouts.
