“It feels great to have my hard work recognised by national industry experts.

“The apprenticeship with Stagecoach is a great way of being able to work on the job and gain technical skills and experience.”

Stagecoach offers apprenticeships in mechanical, body repair and electrical engineering which run over four years.

They involve a combination of residential and on the job training working towards an apprenticeship in transporting engineering maintenance.

“Our scheme is recognised as one of the best in the bus industry so it bodes well to have such quality apprentices developing through the system.”
