Letting Rotherham down
SO Sarah Champion thought that the procurement of a wreath to commemorate our war heroes was a “necessary expense” and therefore claimed the £17 cost, even though she was aware that parliamentary rules precluded her from making such a claim.
This is the same Sarah Champion that thought it “hilarious” that a group of protesters put a stop to Nigel Farage meeting with the people of Rotherham and then also bizarrely tweeted that she believes sex abuse gangs in Rotherham are mainly Pakistani men but, doesn’t accept they’re Muslim.
I’m afraid Champion along with others in positions of power and influence continue to let the people of Rotherham down by refusing to acknowledge and debate why circa 1,400 girls were raped and abused by men of a different faith to their own.
