LETTER: What about a garden of remembrance?
I’VE left writing this letter until after Remembrance Sunday because I thought it would be more appropriate.
More than one person has approached me about having a memorial garden here in Yorkshire.
Although we have a national one they have told me it’s too far away.

Hide AdAs Yorkshire has a population of 5.3 million, the same as Denmark, it would be nice for to have a garden of remembrance here.
We have a group of other counties on our border such as Northumberland, Cumbria, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
I hope this letter is food for thought and like-minded people write to the Advertiser.
Also, anyone who has other ideas will hopefully get involved.
