Letter: Sad at care home closure

My mum was there last year after being discharged from hospital but not able to go straight home. She loved the staff, especially ‘cook’ (as mum called her) for the lovely meals.

With so much negative reports from care homes, I was concerned at first, this being the first time mum needed residential care, but was very pleased with her experience and do hope the staff get jobs elsewhere.
