LETTER: Are our own children not educated enough?

ALL parties in the general election want to bring in skilled workers into an already overcrowded country.

Does this admit that the 100,000 teenagers leaving school are not educated enough to learn a trade/occupation to satisfy the needs of the country and also earn a living for themselves and their future families.

Surely investing in our own children should alleviate the necessity to bring in overseas personnel and be their number one priority.

It would be interesting to learn the views of each candidate regarding school leaving abilities. Pushing for university and incurring huge debts is not an option for most school leavers.
