I would request the person responsible for sanctioning this correspondence to explain exactly what the purpose of this was, you may as well have written: “ Thank you for your contribution to the planning process but guess what — we have won.”

The letter is a complete and utter disgrace to your club and you should be whole heartedly ashamed you felt the need arose for you to issue such an unprofessional and ignorant piece of writing
