Labour policy let down British workers
Sir - Recent results from the 2012 census confirm around 3.7 million migrants have taken full advantage of the free movement of European labour. The effects of this policy have been detrimental to growth in the UK, when Tony Blair and crew let down the drawbridge and decided to exploit cheap foreign labour in the name of New Labour and let employment agencies help themselves to an unregulated pool of easy-to-exploit labour.
It spelt the end of low-skilled British workers and since 2005 the British have been replaced and put on the dole with 3.7 million migrants and 2.7 million British on the dole.

Hide AdThe 2.7 million British ex workers are now being thrown to the dogs to be sent to work for nothing.
Major reform in the labour market is vital and, in my opinion, we are a consumer nation. You have to give people disposable incomes to drive economies.
The tax payer should not be subsidising workers wages with working tax credits because the employment agency has taken 1/3 of their wages.
Employment agents DON'T create vacancies, they merely advertise them but feel they can STEAL the workers wages and overtime.

Hide AdIt's time to start changing the laws and if business want labour, then pay a employment agent direct and leave workers' wages alone.
If this was to happen then British kids would stand a chance to compete in the labour market.
As it stands they haven't got a leg to stand on and the benefits bill is growing as quick as unequality in the work place because of the free movement of European labour.
New Labour set out to destroy the unions with this policy set against a low mininum wage and they have nearly suceeded.
