Electors are being ignored
Sir—One thousand two hundred and sixty six concerned Maltby residents signed of their own free will a petition to stop the wilful destruction of Maltby’s grammar school frontage and clock tower.
That’s 1,266 electors who have been ignored by Councillors Rushforth, Maggie Godfrey, Christine Beaumont and Jenny Andrews, so it begs the question, who are these councillors here to represent if it’s not the electorate?
These four councillors should resign, they have proved to the people of Maltby that they are not here for them. Maltby can now look forward to a school made of cheap bricks, plastic and glass.
Great Maltby men like Edward Dunn would be ashamed to call himself Labour based on this lot’s principles.
