Bun sale for a guide dog

RUDSTON Prep School raised money for an amazing cause by doing a bun sale.

Afterwards, the school council decided to sponsor a guide dog.

A guide is a dog that has been trained to help blind men and women do things like pick up the post and press the pedestrian crossing button.

The guide dog they sponsored was called Rufus.

Recently, Rufus has completed his training and is living with a musician called Steve. He is very happy.

At home, I have been begging my mum to sponsor a polar bear, panda, tiger or a snow leopard.

One day, I came home and there was a letter for me which said my mum had sponsored a World Cup guide dog called Rio.

At the moment, I am on my second pup-date (update on Rio) and he is five months old.

The importance of sponsoring puppies is that other people who are born blind only lose sight not freedom.
