Big thanks

A BIG ‘thank you’ from Aston Tara (Tenants & Resident’s Association) who arranged for a community skip for local residents that was funded by Rother Valley West Area housing panel.

A BIG ‘thank you’ from Aston Tara (Tenants & Resident’s Association) who arranged for a community skip for local residents that was funded by Rother Valley West Area housing panel.

The skip was delivered by KCM Metals on time, in fact it was 15 minutes early and Willmott Dixon provided a team of workers who were a credit to Willmott Dixon. Mick Greaves (vice chairman) and I were expecting to be snowed under with residents bringing their unwanted rubbish but the lads from Willmot Dixon took charge and helped residents who were walking with rubbish, helped with emptying residents’ cars and even went to residents on the estate to collect rubbish when asked.

We also had a visit from area housing manager  Lynne Rowan who visited any resident who had issues with repairs which again was much appreciated by the residents, and Enid Watson of Aston Tara provided tea, coffee etc for residents. Sometimes council employers get bad press but these deserve all the credit they get. Well done, Willmott Dixons & KCM from Aston Tara and its residents.
