Wombwell by-election announced
A BY-ELECTION has been confirmed for Wombwell following the recent death of Cllr Denise Wilde.
Candidates are being asked to submit applications for the vacant seat by noon on August 30 ahead of the election on September 26.
There will be a briefing for candidates and agents on Thursday, August 22 at 4.45pm at Barnsley Town Hall.
Wombwell residents are asked to note that the last date to register to vote in this election is Wednesday, September 11.
