Woman injured in bin lorry crash
A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital after the car she was driving collided with a bin lorry.
Emergency services were called to Warren Vale at the junction with Kilnhurst Road at around 8.55am on Thursday.
A police spokesman said a blue Toyota Avensis was in collision with a Dennis bin lorry.
The road was closed for around an hour and caused lengthy delays for commuters.
The man driving the lorry was not injured and there were no passengers in either vehicle.
