Woman cut free after late-night M1 smash
FIREFIGHTERS cut a woman free from her car after a motorway smash last night.
The one-car crash involving a Ford Fiesta happened between junctions 32 and 33 of the M1, on the northbound side.
Appliances from Parkway, Aston, Birley Moor and Rotherham stations attended at 9.30pm, leaving the scene at 10.50pm.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, but a fire service spokeswoman could not confirm her condition this morning.
