Witnesses to accident wanted

A silver Honda Civic was travelling along Pastures Road towards the Pastures Lodge in Mexborough at around 5.15pm on Thursday, October 30, when it collided with a bicycle, a spokeswoman said.

She added: “It is believed that the Civic was in collision with a bicycle, which was also travelling the same way.

“The 62-year-old man who was riding the bicycle was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released later that evening.

“The 84-year-old man driving the Civic was uninjured.”

Witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 754 of October 30.
