Windfall helps repair church roofs
TWO Rotherham churches are among five in South Yorkshire set to benefit from a £346,000 windfall for urgent and essential repairs to their roofs.
Rotherham Minster will get £95,000, while St Thomas’ in Kimberworth has been handed a £73,900 grant.
The funding has been distributed as part the national Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund.
