WEATHER: Latest snow updates

THERE are still no train services from Rotherham Central, and bus routes in the borough will be reviewed this afternoon.

Rotherham Hospital is only dealing with emergencies today. All elected admissions and out-patient services have been cancelled.

Rotherham’s community health clinics are closed and routine appointments are cancelled.

Central, Maltby and Thorpe Hesley libraries did not open today, and Aston and Dinnington are also closed.

Swinton Library closed at 1pm and Wath and Wickersley will be closing at 2pm.

Several teams reporting very low staff numbers as many are unable to get in to work due to public transport not running.

Rotherham Markets are open for the time being but the situation will be reviewed if the weather deteriorates.

Learning Disabilities Day Services are closed. Families and service users have been informed.

Business centres are open for clients as normal. However there is no reception at Fusion. Moorgate, Century and Matrix receptions are open - the situation will be reviewed subject to the number of tenants on site and weather conditions.

Tonight's Lantern Walk in Wickersley Wood  is cancelled.

And Rotherham rapper Jay Mya’s launch party has been moved to next Wednesday (8) at Liquid from 7pm.
