WEATHER: Full list of Rotherham school closures

SNOW and ice have stalled classes at the borough’s schools and colleges today with the bad weather set to continue.

Youngsters have been forced to stay at home and make the most of the wintery weather after dozens of Rotherham’s head teachers decided not to open for the day.

Oakwood Technology College, Ravenfield Primary and Bramley Grange Primary all plan to open at 10am this morning.

Forecasters are warning of more snow today and tomorrow with temperatures set to plunge to -5 by Friday.
