WATH: Montgomery Hall set to reopen

WATH folk are invited to see their new and improved community facility with an open meeting on Wednesday.

The Community Partnership is keen for as many residents as possible to see Montgomery Hall, complete with new toilets and heating.

Refreshments including wine will be served at the 6pm meeting. Partnership vice chairman Gillian Picker said: “We want people to come and view the hall and learn what is has to offer.”

Insp Dave White and other Safer Neighbourhood Team officers will give an update on the crime in the area.

There will also be updates from Wentworth North Assembly and Dearne Valley Eco-Vision photographic project.

Representatives from Wath Comprehensive School will answer questions, and there will be the latest news from the history and archaeology groups and a planned Christmas celebration at the hall.
