WATH AND MANVERS: Dearne Valley College at careers show

Dearne Valley College (will be attending the Skills Yorkshire and the Humber event at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, on  September 29, and  September 30.

The Skills Yorkshire and the Humber event  is the biggest skills and careers event in the region.

Aimed at youngsters aged 14 to 19, the free event will be hands-on with interactive features giving youngsters a chance to get a real taste of  career options.

Dearne Valley College is exhibiting at the two-day event and will be showing youngsters a flavour of the vocational courses available at the college.

The Wath-based college offers a number of vocational courses from Beauty to Construction and apprenticeships in various trades.

Open evenings will take place at the Manvers Campus from 4.30 to 7.30pm on October 21, November 16 and December 9, 2010, and on January 20, March 16 and May 17, 22011.
