Youths handed police order after vandalism at Covid testing centre

THREE youths have been censured by police for throwing stones and rocks at Covid testing centre.

Rotherham South policing team said the vandals had been issued with dispersal notices over attacks at the test centre in Maltby – meaning they face further action if they return to the area withing 48 hours.

The Advertiser reported earlier this week how the centre had been closed early because of anti-social behaviour.

They also released a photo showing some of the missiles hurled at the testing centre, including large stones and golf balls, since it was opened.
