Youth (17) accused of raping 15-year-old girl
A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of rape.
The 17-year-old from Rotherham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of two three counts of rape and sexual assault, as well as two counts of controlling and coercive behaviour and one of perverting the course of justice.
Two of the alleged sexual offences are said to have been committed against a girl aged 15 in 2018.
The youth’s case was considered by Sheffield Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday in his absence and sent to West Yorkshire Youth Court, where it was listed for tomorrow.
