Young writers sought to enter competition

A COMPETITION is aiming to find the county’s best young wordsmiths.

Hive South Yorkshire is running the free to enter Young Writers’ Competition which has a closing date of November 27.

It is open to people aged from 14 to 25 from South Yorkshire and entrants can submit up to three pieces.

The top prize is a Kindle Fire HD and work will be published in Hive’s 2018 young writers’ anthology.

School class or group entries are welcome.

The poems, flash fiction or stories should be inspired by one of 20 photographs at where more information is also available.
