Young boy injured in kids' centre car park brawl

A BOY of five was among several people injured after a large fight in the car park of a children’s play centre.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident at Big Apple Play City on Old Sheffield Road in Canklow.

A force spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a large group of people fighting in the car park.

"As a result of the incident a number of people, including a five-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.

“No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.”

The fight happened on the morning of Sunday, June 3. Call 101 quoting incident 403 of that of that date or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to give information anonymously.
