Woman's body found at Parkgate, police confirm

A WOMAN’S body has been found on land in Parkgate, police said.

A spokeswoman said that officers had made the discovery near the Fitzwilliam Arms on Taylor’s Lane, close to School Lane, at 1.50pm yesterday

She added: “Formal identification is yet to take place and therefore we are unable to confirm the identity of the deceased at this time.”

“Specialist officers are expected to remain in the area over the coming days as enquiries continue."
