Woman unhurt after car ends up on its side in Ravenfield collision

A WOMAN was unhurt after her car left the road and ended up on its side in Ravenfield last night (Tuesday).

Police said they were called to Moor Lane North at around 7.50pm where a blue Toyota Aygo had left the road and hit a fence.

The 23-year-old driver of the Aygo was not hurt and the car was recovered today, said a police spokeswoman.

Firefighters from Rotherham and Maltby stations were also called to the scene but did not need to release the woman.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the car ended up on its side and no other vehicles were involved.

They left the scene at 8.15pm, she added.
