Woman 'pretended to be carer to steal from 91-year-old'
AN ALLEGED bogus carer has been charged over the distraction burglary of a 91-year-old woman.
Belinda Evans (41) allegedly gained entry to a secure residential complex and knocked on the elderly victim’s door.
Medication and cash were taken from the East Dene resident after the caller pretended to be a carer.
Evans was remanded in custody and expected to appear before magistrates in Sheffield today (Friday).
