Woman on bridge died after being hit by vehicle on M1
A WOMAN spotted sitting on railings on a bridge over the M1 died after being struck by a vehicle on the carriageway.
Police received numerous reports of someone on the crossing over the motorway between junctions 32 and 33 yesterday evening (Sunday).
A spokesperson said: “The 39-year-old woman is believed to have fallen from the bridge and collided with a vehicle in the carriageway below, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“Her family have been informed.

“We are especially keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage.”
