Woman killed in tractor collision named by police

A PEDESTRIAN who died in an incident involving a reversing tractor has been named by police.

Lorraine Walker (63) suffered fatal injuries in the collision at Sprotbrough on Thursday morning.

A police spokesperson said: “It is understood that the green tractor, which had a single axle trailer attached, was reversing onto Newton Lane at the time of the collision.

“Police remain keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, especially any motorists who were travelling through the area who might hold dash-cam footage.”
