Woman hurt in double crash

A DRIVER collided with a car moments after stepping from her own crashed vehicle, which had left a busy road and hit railings.

The 45-year-old woman was driving a white Toyota Aygo along West Bawtry Road at around 5.25pm on Friday.

Her car left the westbound carriageway and crashed into a fence near the Shell petrol station.

West Bawtry Road was closed westbound until at least 7pm, according to one eyewitness.
