Woman dies in road accident
A WOMAN died after being involved in an accident outside a Rotherham church.
The 66-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal head injuries in the collision near All Hallows Church, in Union Street, Harthill.
The crash at 1.45pm involved a silver or blue X-type Jaguar, whose driver, a 74-year-old from Skegness, was not hurt.
The pensioner who died has not yet been named but was from the Derby area.
Police are investigating the circumstances.
