Police stopped a woman in this Volkswagen Golf for drug-driving offences

A WOMAN who was pursued by police in Dinnington has been arrested for offences including drug-driving.

Officers tried to pull the woman's Volkswagen Golf up because it had an expired MOT but she did not stop, South Yorkshire Police's Operational Support Team said in a tweet.

When police eventually caught up with the 31-year-old woman yesterday (Tuesday) she was arrested for two drug-driving offences after being found to be under the influence of cocaine and cannabis.

She was also arrested for failing to stop, careless driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, resisting a constable and possession of a class B drug.
