POLICE have appealed for information about a girl of 15 not seen since the school year ended two months ago.
Eva Adam went missing from her home in Eastwood on Friday, July 19 but the disappearance was not reported until yesterday (Wednesday).
A 41-year-old woman from Rotherham has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect, police have revealed.
A spokeswoman added: “An investigation is now underway to trace Eva and ensure she is safe and well.
“Officers are appealing to anyone who knows Eva and may have seen or heard from her in the past few weeks to get in touch.”
Det Insp Andy Knowles said: “It’s hugely important that we build a picture of where Eva went, and who she may have seen in the time between then and now.
“It doesn’t matter how small the piece of information you have may be, we want to hear from you.”
