Woman (64) critically injured after Wath collision

A 64-YEAR-old woman has been critically injured after ploughing into a churchyard wall in Wath today (Friday). 

Police received reports at 12.30pm that a red Toyota Yaris was involved in a collision with the wall of a churchyard on Church Street, outside All Saints' Church. 

The driver of the Toyota, a 64-year-old woman, has been taken to hospital where her condition is described as critical but stable, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police. 

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to call 101, quoting incident number 314 of February 14.
