Woman (43) arrested for murder after death of man in Catcliffe

A man was found seriously injured at a property in High Hazel Crescent, Catcliffe, at 10pm on Tuesday and died in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police said the 43-year-old woman was in custody.

Det Insp John Fitzgibbons said: “The initial postmortem examination has proved inconclusive, so we will now await the results of further tests which will determine the exact cause of the man’s death.

“If anyone does have any information, I encourage you to share this with us.

“We are currently supporting the man’s family and do have a cordon in place around the scene.”
