Woman (27) injured in Brinsworth crash

A WOMAN was injured in a crash between a van and a car in Brinsworth.

A white Volkswagen van and a silver Toyota Corolla were involved in a collision on Pavilion Lane, Brinsworth, at around 12.20pm on Monday.

Police said the driver of the Toyota, a 27-year-old woman suffered minor injuries in the incident.

A Yorkshire Air Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed its crews attended the scene of the crash and treated an injured woman but she was not airlifted to hopsital.

Pavilion Lane was closed at the junction with Bawtry Road but later reopened.
