Woman (22) 'expected to recover' from Maltby incident in which woman (21) died
A 22-YEAR-old woman who was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident in Maltby where another woman died is expected to recover, police said.
Emergency services were called to an address in Newlands Avenue shortly before noon on November 16 after concerns were raised about the occupants.
A 21-year-old woman, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene and the 22-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she remained today (Wednesday).
Police said she is expected to make a full recovery.
No-one is being investigated in relation to the death, which is not being treated as suspicious.
The results of a postmortem are still pending, added the spokeswoman.
