Woman (21) killed in Thurcroft collision

The 21-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries on Friday (25) when her red Renault Clio was in collision with a white Ford Transit van which was travelling in the opposite direction on Kinsgsforth Lane towards Thurcroft just before 11.50am.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the woman died at the scene.

The driver and passenger in the Transit van suffered minor injuries in the collision.

The spokeswoman said specialist officers were providing support to the woman's family.

"An investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or saw the Clio prior to the collision are asked to report it to the police," she added.
