Witnesses of Saturday's M18 barrier crash sought
A DRIVER and passenger suffered serious injuries after their car struck a barrier on the M18.
The silver Vauxhall Vivaro was travelling along the link road towards the M1 north to Rotherham at about 3.10pm on Saturday.
The vehicle came to rest in the second lane after hitting the nearside barrier and police have appealed for witnesses.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man who was a passenger were discharged after being taken to hospital.
Witnesses are urged to call 101 and quote incident 579 of May 12.
