Witness plea over knifeman

WITNESSES are being sought by police after a man was threatened with a knife outside a Goldthorpe supermarket.

Two men were walking past the victim near Netto on High Street at around 8.45pm on June 15 when one of them became verbally abusive and threatened him with a knife.

The pair walked off towards Market Street, Goldthorpe. The victim ws not injured.

The offender is described as being white, 5’ 9", stocky build, dark shaved hair and wearing a white top with dark three quarter length trousers.

The second man is white, 5’ 5", of muscular build and with short dark hair.
